ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

Hi again

Well, I always enjoy to have english classes, at school and here, at university so it's don't a problem for me go and practice this language. In the case of my experience learning English at university I think that was very productive but I believe that the department would have to be careful in not repeat the same “topics”. The last thing I want to do is criticize because the two English professors that I have in this university are very good at teaching and nice persons, but I consider that they teach me very similar things in both English, but I think that it’s not the professor’s fault, only a program’s fault.

In this semester, with professor Benjamin I realized about my problem using “it” and “to”, something that maybe you can thing that it’s too easy or basic, but I always forget to write them in EVERY post that I share with you and I didn’t know that I always fell in that until now and I think that the only and the best solution for this it is be more attentive when I write or talk and memorize when I have to use this pronoun(?). Other aspect of my English that I need to improve it is learn and practice the conjugations of the verbs, like the preterite, past perfect, past continuous, present continuous, etc … much information for me LL but I want to learn, I swear it.

And… outside the English class I don’t use English, only when I see movies but I always put subtitles but I will try to pay attention in the dialogues for improve my vocabulary jj

MY EXPERIENCE USING BLOGS

My experience using blogs in this class was good and interesting because I never used this platform before or any webpage where I can express my opinions, thoughts or any what I want to write. About my writing skills I feel that I improved a lot, not too much in vocabulary – if I learned new words I forget it because I have a bad memory :( - but in the ability to write the things that I think faster than before (in English) and this is thanks to the practice so this is a good method used by the professors or the English Department for teach and is more creative than all the time doing exercise guides on paper. Other think that I liked and enjoy about the work in blogs is that I meet some points of view about specific topics of my classmates and this is a dynamic that wouldn’t happen with other types of activities. For finish, I would like to include in the future maybe write exercises with more controversial topics like politic, local or world news, or the expressions of beliefs ...

BREAD AND ROSES FILM

Hi everybody, now I’m going to talk about Bread and Roses, a film directed by Ken Loach and released for the first time in 2000. I liked so much this film because, in my opinion, the messages that the film deliver are so important and show   you by a real way, so anyone who watch this film can generate conscience about all the problems that are present in it. About my favorite character is Sam Shapiro, first of all, because Adrien brody gives life to the character and I really like the movies where he acts and for the struggle that he represents. But all the women characters I like too, because they shows their strength.        One thing that I liked about the film was the cast that was selected and one thing that I didn’t like was that the film was a little slow and the colors or tones that the team used in the film, because it seems to me that it was very dark. MY VACATION PLANS

  Hi again, Now I'm going to talk about my vacation plans. About my winter vacation, I want to go to Arica to see my mom, my brother, my pets and my friends and then I hope to go to Iquique and see my father and my other brother and take many walks on the beach. I miss them a lot because it is very expensive to travel to Arica in airplane because it is far away and in a bus I have to travel about 30 hours and I hate this, so I go to my city very little and I don't see my family frequently. And about my summer vacation I don’t have a plan but the last 4 years I traveled with my friends to different places like Bolivia, Peru, Brazil or inside Chile and I hope that this summer vacation will not be the exception so I'm raising money for this and I plan to find a job in the second semester to raise more money and travel to any place, but if I don’t raise the necessary amount to go to a very great place like Ecuador or go back to Brazil for example I will wait jej it is not...
